The great part about this episode is that it starts out with Cordelia dealing with her pain after finding Xander cheating on her with Willow, she is in pain because she had her side skewered on a metal rod as well. So really she's just in a kinda bad place. Willow, Xander & Buffy are the cold open, fighting monsters alone. I actually think that Charisma Carpenter had A+++ acting this episode, she looks SO sad when she's burning the photos of Xander.

However, She's not Queen C for nothing, she looks badass when she returns to school ready to kick ass & take names, while returning to her group of friends. As far as we know, Cordelia has mostly ignored her group of former friends since season 2 after publicly dating Xander. She doesn't have much luck as Harmony tries to set her up with Jonathan and that kinda bites. She meets Anya though, a new girl in school. YAY ANYA.

Basically, she goes out and tries to have a good time, and at least seems to be. After getting hurt again, she leaves the club and Buffy follows with her jacket. Unfortunate slaying timing happens and Cordelia accidentally gets knocked into some trash. This leads her to make the wish with Anya, because she blames Buffy for going out with Xander in the first place.

I wish Buffy Summers had never come to Sunnydale. Wish Granted.

Yay is a brave new world!! One where Cordelia is Popular again. Unfortunately, no Buffy means the master is still alive and this world kinda sucks. We follow Cordelia who runs into Xander, who is with Willow and, oh yeah, vampires. Luckily Cordelia gets away with help of Giles, Oz, Larry & Nancy.

Meanwhile, the Master worries over the mention of Buffy, and the he sends Xander and Willow to get rid of Cordelia. So ironically, in a Cordelia focused episode, she dies.

Giles lives, and starts researching the necklace that Cordelia was wearing, and after hearing Cordelia talk about Buffy he tries to get a hold of her as well, since he was meant to be her watcher.

the Vampires celebrate by taking their anger out on Angel.

Anyway after that Buffy DOES Show up, looking kinda crazy & different. She does not play well with others, and basically is not the Buffy we know and love. 4/10 would not recommend. However she does have a plan to go after the Master since she's bored and why not, right?

So she finds out that the Master is trying to mass produce blood or something, takes Angel as backup even though he's a vampire, and then shit goes down.

sadly, this world kinda sucks and everyone dies. For maximum feels, you should listen to the score while watching theses gifs. EVERYONE KILLS SOMEONE THEY LOVE AND ITS SAD AND NO ONE CARES AND MY BABIESSSSSSSSSSS
